20s Inspired

How sweet is this look with the petal skirt and oversized flower tucked into her hair? She looks like some darling inspired from the 20s. I went so far as to buy the same skirt from ModCloth, but I hate to return it because it was super, super short. I still like to look at it though.

A Charming Mix of Things

I'm seriously at risk of becoming a true maximalist when I have my own home to decorate, but for now I'm safe just daydreaming about these over the top living spaces.

The Crillon Ball

How fantastic is Lily Collins' dress from the 2008 Crillon Ball? I had a period there in December where I kept looking up pictures from past balls while I was waiting for Jane Aldridge's pictures to be posted online.

Holly + Billy

I'm adore these Cape Cod pictures of Holly and Billy's wedding from September. I used to only ever think I would want a white wedding dress, but after seeing these photos, I love the idea of having an embroidered vintage dress! So cute, rowing in a swimming pool.

Those SHOES!

Instead of choosing a color pallet, Holly dressed all her bridesmaids in J Crew.Every table had their own so very Parisian cake.

Lovely prints over at Looks Good to Me's blog:
"I love a good street style blog.

I have always been more interested in seeing what someone looks like when she is dressing up just because than when she is dressing up because she knows someone is going to take her photo.

In addition to being great for people-watching, street style blogs are also an excellent way to track trends. Recently I’ve noticed one that looks so good, I can’t get it out of my head.

Scrunched socks! I’ve noticed my fare share of cool-looking ladies wearing them. With boots, with heels, with bare legs, over tights or with pants, it feels so fresh and new (and warm too!)"

Some Fairytales Don't Have Happily Ever Afters

I was shocked to learn that 1. Luella has stopped trading and 2. CHRISTIAN EFFING LACROIX has stopped making couture! - all because they couldn't find buyers...what a shame.
